A number of flower beds with small trees, and bushes. Large variety of different plants, including a mass of stinging nettles to the side of the house. We get a lot of butterflies in the summer. Three vegetable patches. A small dyke to one side, so we sometimes get dragonflies in the summer. Plenty of nesting birds in our garden. A number of compost heaps at the bottom of the garden. The southern end of the garden is very shady with a lot of dead wood, due to a copse of trees. There is also a 50cm high bug hotel in a small wild flower area.
